BF&M leads BSX up

The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index gained 47.90 points yesterday to close at 4,442.05 as the two issues changing prices reached record highs.
BF&M led the advances gaining $1 or 5.7 percent to close at a record high of $18.50 as investors traded 5,700 shares.
Butterfield Bank, buoyed by record first quarter results, also rose 75 cents to close at a record high of $57 on volume of 26,000 shares and while no other issue changed price, 31 KeyTech shares traded unchanged at $12.70.
The total value of the shares bought and sold on the BSX yesterday was $1,599,110.00 and the overall volume of shares was 31,931.
