Butterfield Bank, Belco lead BSX rise

The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index gained 97.749 points last week to close at 4,484.25.
During a moderate week of trading Butterfield Bank led the advances, gaining $1.50 cents to close at $58 as investors traded in 67,115 shares.
Belco gained $1 to close at $39 on volume of 1,920 shares and BF&M rose 50 cents to close at $18 as 6,700 shares changed hands.
Argus also rose 25 cents to close at $14.25 as investors traded in 100 shares and KeyTech gained 15 cents to close at $12.65 as 13,751 shares changed hands.
Meanwhile Bermuda Commercial Bank fell 25 cents to close at $7.75 on volume of 7,000 shares.
The total value of the shares bought and sold on the BSX last week was $4,203,081.75 and the overall volume of shares was 96,586.
