The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index fell 2.39 points or 0.09 percent to close at 2,692.34 in a light day of trading. A total of 4,400 shares worth $139,850 were traded.

The Bank of Bermuda saw the only action in the sector but remained unchanged at $44.50 after 400 shares were traded.

The only other active issue was Belco Holdings Ltd. which fell 50 cents or 1.6 percent to close at #30.50 on volume of 4,000 shares.
