BSX gains 29.13 points

The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange yesterday gained 29.13 points of 1.08 percent to close at 2,738.50.
The Bank of Butterfield had the highest volume of trading with 3,700 shares moving and gaining 25 cents to close at $33.
The Bank of Bermuda's stock value remained at $45.75 yesterday while 325 shares moved. On the Nasdaq Exchange, the Bank fell 55 cents to close at $45.20 on volume of 13,000 shares.
BF&M 9 percent preferred shares saw trading of 83 shares after the company announced yesterday that it was exercising an option to convert the shares to common shares.
Meanwhile, Watlington Waterworks traded 30 shares yesterday.
