The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index fell 3.82 points or 0.14 percent yesterday to close at 2,725.35. A total of 1,600 shares worth $56,700 were traded.

The only stock to be traded in the banking sector was 900 shares of the Bank of Bermuda although it remained unchanged at $44 at the end of the day.

Argus Insurance fell 75 cents or 3.2 percent to close at $23 on volume of 200 shares.

Belco Holdings Ltd. gained 25 cents or 0.8 percent to close at $31.50 on volume of 300 shares.
