MediaHouse leads advances
The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index fell 29.23 points yesterday to close at 4,403.95.
On an active trading day, MediaHouse Limited Preferred led the advances, gaining 75 cents to close at $4.50 as investors traded in 473 shares.
Belco rose 25 cents to close at $39 on volume of 1,822 shares and KeyTech rose 25 cents to close at $12.25 on volume of 159 shares.
BF&M fell $2.15 to close at $15.10 as 505 shares changed hands and Butterfield Bank fell 25 cents to close at $56.75 as investors traded in 2,808 shares.
Bermuda Commercial Bank traded in 16 shares to close unchanged at $8.95, Bermuda Bakery traded in 50 shares to close unchanged at $55 and Devonshire Industries traded in 42 shares to close unchanged at $14.95.
Meanwhile Masters traded in 500 shares to close unchanged at $22,50, MediaHouse Limited traded in 96 shares to close unchanged at $6.55 and Watlington Waterworks traded in 1,122 shares to close unchanged at $12.50.
The total value of the shares bought and sold on the BSX yesterday was $274,549.35 and the overall volume of shares was 7,658.
