BSX slips 10.58 points

The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index fell 10.58 points or 0.44 percent yesterday to close at 2,383.24. A total of 15,200 shares worth $422,205 were traded.

The Banking sector saw little activity with the Bank of Bermuda remaining unchanged at $35 with only 400 shares traded.

The Bank of Butterfield fell $0.35 or one percent to close at $33 on volume of 8,400 shares.

In the Insurance sector, the sole stock to be traded was Argus Insurance Co. Ltd. which fell $0.50 or 2.4 percent to close at $20 on volume of 5,600.

Bermuda Press (Holdings), the parent company of the Royal Gazette, gained $1 or 9.1 percent to close at $12 on volume of 300 shares.

In the Utilities sector, KeyTech Ltd. fell $0.50 or 1.2 percent to close at $41.25 on volume of 200 shares.

And Watlington Waterworks Ltd. gained $0.10 or 2.2 percent to close at $4.60 on volume of 300 shares.
