Dear Sir,

Many thanks to the couple that's saving that poor pitbull puppy from "Death Row" and taking him back home with them.

As Brindle's Mom says, I don't see how putting Pit bull puppies to sleep is going to stop illegal breeding, dog fighting and/or animal abuse. If they want to make a difference how about giving the Wardens the power to arrest these people like they do on Channel 42 on Animal Planet. Give harsher fines and some prison time.

People need to realise that when you take in a pet it is a lifetime job, just like having a baby. They need us to look after them and if you can't provide your pet with attention and love then don't get one. It's as simple as that.

Tying your dog in the yard with no water or food in the hot sun or rain is abuse. I can't even watch a show on TV where the animals is in pain without crying my eyes out.

People, think before you get a dog or cat.
