Wells’ City to take on Barnet
Nahki Wells’ Bradford City will look to return to winning ways tonight when they travel to Barnet.Bradford, who lie in 19th position in the League Two table, drew 1-1 with Hereford at the weekend, a match which Wells started. The Bermuda international will be hoping for another chance to impress having not scored in his last six outings.Wells, 21, has scored five goals in all competitions since signing a one-year contract with the Bantams in the summer.Bradford coach Phil Parkinson believes the focus on fitness work during the week is behind City’s strong finishes of late.“I do believe we are a fit side and that’s another factor,” said Parkinson, whose side grabbed a late equaliser against Hereford on Saturday.“We’ve worked on the intensity levels in training. You can’t train slow and then expect to play quick.“We work for short duration but with high intensity when the conditions allow.“That hasn’t always been easy, especially recently with the weather, but we’ve always set up training to be sharp so that the lads are fit, fresh and ready to go in the games.”
