Global Equity Fund has listed on the exchange.

The fund joins Orbis Optimal and Orbis Leveraged equity funds and brings the total number of BSX-listed funds to 59.

All three funds were launched January 1, 1990 and have achieved annualised net returns of 14.2 percent, 15.1 percent and 19.5 percent respectively. Their valuations are listed in the mutual fund chart included in The Royal Gazette on Monday.

The funds, which have been awarded Fund Research Ltd.'s top rating, are managed by Hamilton-based Orbis Investment Management Ltd. The listing was sponsored by Bermuda International Securities Ltd.

In trading on the BSX yesterday, one issue declined, one advanced and one closed unchanged.

Bermuda Container Line closed down 75 cents at $2.50 on volume of 500 while Bank of Butterfield gained 12.5 cents closing at $9.50 on volume of 263.

Long Botham Boats closed unchanged at $2 on volume of 800.

The index closed at 977.34, up 2.81 points.

Share volume was 1,563 worth $5,348.50.
