Roger Lightbourne, of Hartle Drive, was not required to enter a plea to the indictable offence which allegedly occurred on October 29.

Crown counsel, Mr. Diarmuid Doorly said a middle-aged couple were riding an auxiliary cycle along Middle Road in Southampton around midnight when they were forced to pull over.

It is alleged that Lightbourne, aided by another person not before the court, stole a wallet with US $150, CDN $135, credit cards and other personal items from Harold Chisolm.

A purse, containing US $180, CDN $48 and personal items, was taken from Chisolm's wife, Brenda.

The total value of all goods stolen was $556.33.

Lightbourne was remanded in custody until January 21 when he will appear in court again for mention.

POLICE IN HUNT FOR MISSING TEEN POL Police in hunt for missing teen Police are appealing for information on a missing 13-year-old girl, following her disappearance last Friday.

A Police spokesperson said it is believed Starla Humphrey may be in the company of friends.

The missing teen is described as being light brown skinned, about 5-feet 2-inches tall with dark brown shoulder length hair.

"When last seen she was wearing black jeans and a multi-coloured jacket.

Anyone knowing the whereabouts of Starla Humphrey is asked to contact the Missing Persons Department at Hamilton Police Station as soon as possible,'' said the spokesperson.

TRUCKER FINED FOR SUNDAY DRIVING CTS Trucker fined for Sundary driving Sunday driving has cost a 33-year-old trucker a $50 fine.

Landro Bascome, of Payne Lane, St. George's, admitted in Magistrates' Court using the truck without a Sunday permit.

He told Senior Magistrate the Wor. Will Francis: "Sometimes jobs come up and you've just got to go out on them.'' Bascome said he intended paying for the Sunday driving permit at Transport Control Department on the following Monday.

He was also fined $50 after admitting failing to exhibit a licence sticker in the required manner.

HIT BY BOTTLE CRM Hit by bottle An innocent bystander was struck in the forehead with a bottle after two men got into a fight at a nightclub over the weekend.

A Police spokesperson said the injured 29-year-old woman was at a Hamilton nightspot when the incident occurred early on Saturday morning.

The woman was taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital where she received five stitches to the wound.

A 29-year-old Hamilton Parish man has been arrested in connection with the incident.

DRUNK IN PARK CTS Drunk in park A 49-year-old Pembroke man was given a six month conditional discharge in Magistrates' Court after pleading guilty to being drunk and incapable.

Sgt. Earl Kirby, prosecuting, said John Edward Fox, of Serpentine Road, was found asleep in Par-La-Ville Park last week.

Police officers noticed his breath smelled of alcohol, and he had to be carried to a Police car, added Sgt. Kirby.

HOMES RAIDED CRM Homes raided Police have reported that a guest facility and two homes in the Pembroke area were broken into over the weekend.

A spokesperson said that money was stolen from handbags in homes on Point Shares Road and Hidden Lane.

Nothing was reported stolen from the guest facility.
