HWP’s ‘mega’ sale set for today has been postponed due to forecast bad weather.“The weather is predicted to be gale force winds and thunderstorms, so we are moving the sale to next week,” said Tony Martin, executive vice president of HWP auto sales.The sale will now be held on Saturday, February 18, from 9am to 4pm.The sale will include 2011 models of Suzuki, Hyundai, Skoda, Mitzubishi, Nissan, Volkswagen, Mazda cars as well as Piaggio, Honda and Vespa bike brands.While Mr Martin couldn’t reveal the specific dollar discounts, stating it will depend on the car model, he said: “The discounts are going to be huge and substantial; this doesn’t happen every day. They’ll be great savings on selected models.”Should there be a bargain hunter in the family, Mr Martin said that HWP is “open to offers on discounts as well”.Butterfield Bank and Freisenbruch-Meyer Group will also be on site to help new customers with financing questions and insurance matters.The sale will be held at HWP’s storage car lot, next to Bull’s Head car park and the car wash.
