Carlos Estravit's 603 series was high for the winners, who also rolled the third high game of 976 and second high team series of 2,744.

Another match that was full of surprises was Team Electric's shock 27-3 win over Lite Ice to climb into first place. Anthony Smith provided the spark, rolling the second high game of 265 and top series of 626 to lead the winners to the second high team game of 995 and third high series of 2,737. Mike Lambe had the third high series of 618 to lead the losers, who were ice cold.

Tools and Equipment rolled to a 20-10 win over Terminators with Antoine Jones and Conrad Lister posting the second and fourth high series of 620 and 604.

T&E also posted the night's top team game and series of 1,025 and 2,836.

Thompson's had another successful week with their 26-4 thrashing of the New Breed. It was a consistent team effort since all bowlers posted medium five hundred series to take all three games and series. Vernon Daniels' third high game of 243 paced the winners while Delmont Tucker tried to keep pace for the losers.

Stevedoring Services took a 23-7 win from New Mix Ups. In this low-scoring contest, Miles Smith was the top man for the winners while Clem Lespere was high for the losers.

The pair of Yvette Smith and Millie Waldron bowled second in a row, had an eight spare and bowled four more strikes to complete a game of 279. Now the prize money will be doubled on October 1 when competition continues.

Quinton Mallory continued his tirade against the pins with a 580 series and 212 game as he led Porgies to a 3-1 victory over Marlins in Fishbowl League action.

Marlins' Marj Correia bowled a 517 women's third series and Joe Correia the men's third game 200 in a losing cause.

Rockfish beat Wahoo 3-1 on the strength of Mark Brooks' first ever 500, a 520, (73 handicap) in the closest match of the night.

Wahoo's David Mello and Sylvia O'Connor tried to offset the pace of Rockfish as Mello bowled the men's third series of 551 and O'Connor the ladies second series and game of 520 and 194. Doug Hines added the men's third series of 538.

Goldfish pulled out the stops against Mackerel with a 3-1 win while Tuna were winning by the same margin over Angel Fish.

Piranhas scored a 4-0 win over Dolphins as they were led by Sterlin Smith's sterling 506.

Ann Mitchell led Snappers to a 4-0 win over Cow Pollies with the women's top series and game of 544 and 200 while team-mate Donald Redman bowled a 202 for the men's second game honours.

Barracuda also dealt out a 4-0 thrashing, as Hinds suffered the defeat.

Prudence Spriggs had a 515 series and third game of 192.

Carl Reid, Glenn Tuzo, Peaches Perinchief and Traci Lambe topped the individual honours lists, but none of their teams registered wins during latest action in the Mixed Majors League.

Reid rolled a top series of 597 as well as a third high game of 208, but it could not prevent Captain's Lounge from going down 3-1 to Untouchables. Kel Burt led the winners with the second high series of 561 while Vivian Griffiths supported with the third high series of 529. Terry Gibbons rolled a 539 third high series for Untouchables.

Tuzo had the top game for men with his 225 effort for Dolphins, but their opponents, Strikers, still prevailed by winning 3-1.

Mix Ups drew 2-2 with Troublemakers as Perinchief rolled the top women series of 619 and Lambe replied with the high game of 224 for Troublemakers.

Perinchief also had the second high game of 222 as well as a 211 game which tied with Lambe's effort. Lambe completed her outstanding night by rolling the second high series of 605.

In other action Dynamic Four hammered Royals 4-0 despite the efforts of Cal Simmons who had a second high game of 213 for Royals. Trojans beat Last Minutes 4-0 in the other match.

Team series and game honours went to Untouchables who had a 2,144 series and second and third games of 723 and 713. Captain's Lounge rolled the top game of 727 and second high series 2,024 while Mix Ups had a 1,959 series.
