Getting ready for a Pow Wow

Bermudians and visitors of native American descent paid a visit to City Hall yesterday as Mayor Graeme Outerbridge welcomed the Chief of the Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe, Vernon (Silent Drum) Lopez and Jessie Little Doe Baird. The visit was to help kick off the Bermuda Pow Wow 2013 that will be held this weekend in St David’s. The mayor joined in a rain dance in front of City Hall to the sounds of drums and singing.
