Woman denies pitbull attack on nine-year-old

A woman yesterday denied responsibility for an alleged dog attack on a nine-year-old boy.

Chantelle Thomas, 46, pleaded not guilty to being in charge of a female pitbull-type dog named Cassie and a male pitbull-type dog named Cola that injured Aston Jones-Williams.

The incident is alleged have happened on March 21 last year in Pembroke.

Senior magistrate Juan Wolffe released Ms Thomas, from Pembroke, on $1,000 bail and adjourned the case until January 11.
