In the ladies? final played earlier in the day, Lady Cougars put four passed the hapless Zebras to complete an unbeaten season in all competitions.

The victory also represented the 10th time they had won the FA Cup in their history, cementing their reputation as the undisputed champions of women?s football on the Island since it officially began in 1990.

The first half was goalless, even though Lady Cougars were clearly the better side from the outset and created stacks of chances to take the lead.

The sense was that once they got one the floodgates would open. And so it proved when, after 55 minutes, Cheyra Bell popped up to score, before six minutes later Arkeita Smith doubled their advantage.

Bell grabbed her second in the 80th minute while Ashley Wall completed the rout right at the death.

In the Under-18 Knockout Cup final, Boulevard beat North Village 2-1 thanks to goals from Ajani Gibbons and Ian Coke. Matthew Madeiros had given Village the lead in the second minute.
