The man told Police the house keys were in his Mitsubishi Lancer station-wagon outside.

Thieves took the car keys from one of the bedrooms, a Police spokeswoman said.

The car's licence number is 09166 and anyone with information on the theft should ring Police on 295-0011.

FLIGHT ROWDIES FINED CTS Flight rowdies fined Two airborne rowdies were brought down to earth with a bump yesterday.

For Kamal Salaam, 27, and Kenneth D. Hill, 28, were both fined $200 after misbehaving on a Bermuda/Miami charter flight.

The two were arrested after being cautioned by Police about their behaviour after arriving at the Airport on Tuesday night.

Prosecutor Sgt. Anthony Mouchette said Police were called to the Airport to meet a charter flight from Miami containing some unruly passengers.

Salaam, of Grotto View Hill, Smith's Parish, and Hill, of Boundary Crescent, Devonshire, both pleaded guilty in Magistrates' Court yesterday to using offensive words in public.

FLIGHT DIVERTED FLY Flight diverted A London-bound plane carrying 192 passengers diverted to Bermuda in the early hours yesterday after a fire alert.

The crew and some of the passengers were put up at the Princess Hotel while arrangements were made to fly in a mechanic.

The jet -- flying British Airways colours but leased to Caledonian Airways -- was flying to Gatwick from Grand Cayman and the Bahamas.

It was 50 miles east of Bermuda when a fire warning light from the forward cargo hold flashed.

The plane was checked after it landed at the Airport at 2.20 a.m., but no fire was discovered.

Police spokeswoman Evelyn James Barnett said it was decided to fly in a mechanic to carry out a complete check.

CRASH VICTIM NAMED OBT AC Crash victim named Police yesterday named the motorcyclist killed in a road crash in Warwick on Tuesday night.

Larry Ellsworth Burgess, 41, of Pembroke, died when he drove his green Yamaha over a 24-foot embankment and ploughed on to a concrete poolside patio at Glenwood Park Crescent.

Police say Mr. Burgess -- who received head injuries -- apparently failed to negotiate a sharp bend in the road just before 7.30 p.m.

It was the third road fatality of the year.

FOUL PLAY RULED OUT OBT Foul play ruled out A 44-year-old Pembroke man found dead in Devonshire Marsh was named yesterday as Ervin Smith.

His body was discovered in a lean-to at the back of the New Garden Market on Tuesday.

"There are no suspicious circumstances involved,'' she said.
