Meanwhile, the latest plans, which are yet to be approved, include turning the building into offices on the ground, first, second and third floors.

Buckaroo Restaurant owner David Cauchi, a tenant of 27 years, yesterday said he had not heard anything from his landlord. He declined to comment further.

The building is owned by a trust, the beneficiaries of which are David L.

The DAB last week approved the Bermuda Housing Corporation's plans to expand a residential care facility for male teens at the former Ocean View Apartments on Aeolia Drive, Pembroke.

The Board granted planning permission, on the condition that only eight residents occupy the facility at any given time; DAB permission must be sought should the Housing Corporation wish to alter that number.

Gorham's Ltd. was given the green light to make renovations to an existing building at its St. John's Road property.
