Devonshire man denies having cannabis and cocaine

A Devonshire man is to stand trial in Magistrates’ Court for drug offences.Rodney Grimes, 24, of Loyal Hill Pass, pleaded not guilty to possession of cannabis with intent to supply, possession of cocaine and possession of drug equipment. The offences are alleged to have occurred in Devonshire on January 14.Crown counsel Cindy Clarke said less than a gram of cocaine and 22.5 grams of cannabis were found, as well as scissors intended for use of drugs.Senior Magistrate Archibald Warner released Mr Grimes on $15,000 bail plus a like surety.
