recently at Ocean View, with $1,044 raised and donated to prison officer Russell (Rocko) Leverock who has been undergoing treatment for cancer since 1989. The event was sponsored by Gosling Brothers and 16 golfers from Fire Brigade, Prisons, Bermuda Regiment and Police took part with Police winning the event and Regiment second. Police Commissioner Lennett (Lennie) Edwards, though not playing, was on hand to present the prizes to the winning team and the cheque to Leverock.
