Double Dip - famous for its tasty ice-creams - is set to launch a new winter menu next week to warm the cockles during the colder months.

The popular eatery will be serving up everything from soups, cheese, turkey and avocado panini sandwiches and Jamaican patties to backed potato with broccoli and fried fish, as well as Chicken Bistro and hot dogs with chilli or cheese. There are also lunch box specials and desserts on offer.

The ice cream parlour, which is run by manageress Sandra Dill, is open from Monday to Thursday between 5 a.m. to 7 p.m., Friday to Saturday 5 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Sunday 5 a.m. to 9 p.m.
