The Works Ministry said garbage and recyclables will instead be collected on the following day, Saturday, March 29, continued the statement.

The public are asked to have their garbage ready for collection before 7.30 a.m. and the Tynes Bay drop off will be open as usual from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
