Schools play in Brazilian tournament
The third annual Bermuda Brazilian Football School’s (BBFS) Life Skills Tournament will be held at Dellwood Middle School on Friday.Dellwood Middle School, TN Tatum Middle School and Whitney Institute Middle School will compete in the tournament, which is sponsored by HSBC and starts at 3.15pm.Students from the three schools recently completed a seven-week life skills programme, which saw the youngsters receive 55 minutes of football training and 15-minute presentations.The presentations were provided by the Human Rights Commission (Sportsmanship and Respect), HSBC Bermuda (How to Save for the Future), Bermuda's Brazilian Football School (Discipline and the importance of joining the BFA National Academy), CADA (Alcohol and Drug Prevention) and the Bermuda Police Service (Avoiding Gangs and other forms of Anti-Social activities).
