Troncossi joins network of PR, communications agencies

Troncossi Public Relations, yesterday announced that it has signed an agreement to join a network of public relations and communications agencies across the Caribbean, Central and South America and the US.

Agencies in the network are based in Argentina, Bahamas, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Jamaica, Mexico, Nicaragua, Paraguay, Peru, Puerto Rico, Uruguay and Venezuela.

The selection criteria for these agencies are small- to medium-sized companies that excel in the field of public relations and communications, and are not part of another network of agencies. Troncossi Public Relations is the only Bermuda representative in this network.

Elizabeth Tee, managing director, Troncossi Public Relations, said: "Some of our clients are looking to open offices in South America and we can now introduce them to agencies with a similar philosophy and infrastructure to ourselves. Our membership also allows us to gather information on a specific country through our new PR partners. It's all part of adding value to our clients."

Priscilla Col?n, president and chief operating officer, Acqua Communications, which set up the network said: "We're delighted to welcome Troncossi on board. We looked for partners that are willing to initiate change and penetrate new and existing markets with proven results. We selected Troncossi after receiving several recommendations from other companies on the Island. They have a reputation as a fast, nimble, results-oriented company which really understands how to make PR work for their clients."

Troncossi said that membership in the network does not affect a company's branding, financial organisation or structure and all members continue to work independently and use the network as a resource.
