Carabella real estate boss Ivan Clarke, 67, and his assistant Malika Battersbee both pleaded not guilty in Magistrates' Court.

Clarke was charged with permitting an unlicensed real estate salesperson to trade real estate with Juliana Swan between January 19 and January 27.

It was also alleged that he allowed an unlicensed real estate agent to trade real estate with Mr. and Mrs. Albert Woods between January 27 and February 3.

And he is also charged with allowing an unlicensed real estate agent to trade real estate with Zurie Tate between December 1 and December 6 last year.

Battersbee, 27, was charged with trading with Juliana Swan between January 19 and 27 when she was not a licensed real estate salesperson.

It is also alleged she traded as an unlicensed agent with Mr. and Mrs. Albert Woods between January 27 and February 3.

She was also charged with trading with Zurie Tate between December 1 and December 6 last year when unlicensed.

Clarke's trial was scheduled for December 9 while Battersbee is due in court on December 8.
