Butterfield shares slip 1% in New York

No shares traded on the Bermuda Stock Exchange as The Royal Gazette/BSX Index closed unchanged on 2,242.05.
Butterfield Bank’s US-listed shares fell 33 cents, or nearly 1 per cent, to close on $33.23 on below-average volume of 85,717 shares.
Butterfield last traded on the BSX at $34.75.
The BSX Insurance Index fell 3.49 points, or 0.21 per cent, to close on 1,627.02.
