Lines Overseas Management's Money Market Fund Ltd. has been awarded an AAAm rating by Standard & Poors.

The rating is the highest that can be awarded and the definition reads: "Safety is excellent. Superior capacity to maintain principal value and limit exposure to loss."

Explaining their rationale for the rating, S&P said the rating reflects high credit standards used in selecting investments and sound management practices.

The LOM Money Market Fund is an open-ended investment company incorporated under the laws of the Cayman Islands as an exempted company on February 19, 1998.

The Fund's investment objective is to provide preservation of capital, liquidity and returns that are similar to short-term money rents of the currency in which the class is dominated.

This is done by purchasing short-term money market instruments with first tier ratings as defined by nationally recognised rating organisations, whilst maintaining disciplined and effective management strategies.
