Overseas Partners Capital sold One Buckhead Plaza, a 20-storey office tower completed in 1987 with 401,105 square feet of office space and 41,824 square feet of retail space, to Strategic Partners, an entity of Los Angeles-based CB Richard Ellis Investors.
In 1995, Overseas paid $62 million for the building, which houses the Chops and Nava restaurants and the office of former Coca-Cola Chairman and Chief Executive Doug Ivester, according to the Atlanta Constitution-Journal.
CB Richard Ellis Investors bought One Buckhead Plaza as an investment, a spokesman said. The strong leasing levels and rents in Buckhead, were key reasons for CB Richard Ellis Investors' interest in the property, he said.
