Burglary and prowling charges for trio of men
Three men appeared in Magistrates' Court yesterday facing 23 charges of burglary and receiving stolen goods relating to 13 separate incidents.
Shannon Wilkinson, 22 of Palm Valley Southampton and Tyrone Pedro, 19, of Fork Lane Southampton, both represented by lawyer Kendrick James, are jointly charged with 23 counts of burglary and receiving stolen goods.
Javon Caisey, 27, of Granaway Heights, Southampton, represented by lawyer Mark Pettingill, faced one charge of prowling relating to count 23 for Pedro and Wilkinson.
All three men pleaded not guilty to all charges.
All of the counts related to burglaries in several parishes across the Island. The alleged crimes took place between March 12 and 20 of this year. The items stolen in the alleged burglaries included everything from women's clothing to diamond earrings, Rolex watches and flatscreen televisions.
Senior Magistrate Archibald Warner remanded all three men in custody until their next court appearance on March 31.
