Butterfield slips 4.7% in New York

No shares traded on the Bermuda Stock Exchange as The Royal Gazette/BSX Index closed unchanged on 2,156.71.
The US-listed shares of Butterfield Bank slid $1.50, or 4.68 per cent, to close on $30.52, on above-average volume of 212,749 shares. The bank lasted traded on the BSX at $33.
The BSX Insurance Index fell 47.96 points, or 3.07 per cent, to close on 1,516.07.
