Tonight’s AGM agenda

As many as 14 clubs could take part in the elections to decide the next Bermuda Cricket Board (BCB) President, Treasurer, Fund Development Chairman and three Club Representatives during the Board’s Annual General Meeting to be held at Charities House tonight (7pm).The four candidates who have already been nominated for the presidency are Allen Richardson, Lloyd Fray, Clay Smith and Ed Bailey. No nominations will be accepted from the floor of the AGM unless the majority of the members of the Board present agree to same.Any club that has not paid its annual affiliation fee will not be entitled to vote while the quorum for Annual General Meetings must be 12 Board members including at least three Executive Committee members and at least six club officials.The agenda for tonight’s AGM is as follows:1) The President to take the chair and read the notice convening the meeting.2) Approve the minutes of the last Full Board Meeting of March 15, 2011.3) President’s Report.4) National Coach’s Report.5) Approval of Audited Financial Statements for the year ended December 31, 2010.6) Appointment of Auditors for the year ended December 31, 2011.7) Secretary to present Governance Review: Proposed amendments to the Constitution with respect to number four and Bye-Laws with respect to number three, four, seven and nine.8) Proposed suspension of Somerset Bridge Recreation Club.9) Election of President, Treasurer and Fund Development Chair to hold office until the Annual General Meeting of the Bermuda Cricket Board in the year 2014.10) Elections of three Club Representatives to hold office until the Annual General Meeting of the Bermuda Cricket Board in the year 2012 or until their respective successors have been duly elected.11) Any other business.
