Vessel giant Oleander made its voyage to Bermuda on Sunday, from Port Elizabeth, New Jersey, carrying 191 containers including 44 refrigerated.

It also had miscellaneous cargo, which included six trailers, ten cars, one trencher, two office trailers, two cement trucks and four horses. It sailed from Bermuda at 8.05 a.m. yesterday.

Its rival, Bermuda Islander, is expected to dock in Bermuda tomorrow at 8 a.m. with 145 containers including 30 refrigerated ones and two 45-foot flat-bed trailers. It sailed out on Friday at 8 a.m.

Car carrier Hune Highway will discharge 143 cars and trucks when it arrives on the Island at 9 a.m. on Friday, before turning around at 3 p.m. that day.

Cruise ship wise, Azmara Journey berthed on the Island on Monday morning in St. George's and shifted to the Hamilton docks yesterday morning. It will leave at 3 p.m. tomorrow. It had 668 passengers.

Empress of the Seas arrived on Monday in Hamilton at 2.50 p.m. and will head to St. George's today, before she sails out at 7 a.m. tomorrow. It brought 1,603 people.

The Norwegian Crown arrived in Bermuda yesterday morning at St. George's. It will shift to the Hamilton docks today, before departing at noon on Friday. It brought 1,099 passengers.

Grandeur of the Seas also pulled in yesterday morning, at Dockyard. She will depart Bermuda today at 4 p.m., however, passenger counts were not available.

On Sunday around 4.55 p.m. a 24ft power craft, Chaser II,with three people on board, reported to Bermuda Radio that it was disabled, one mile north of Daniel's Head in Somerset due to battery failure.

Marine Police boat Heron III on patrol in Paradise Lakes assisted the vessel before it managed to get its engine restarted at 5.43 p.m. Chaser II was then able to make its way back to its moorings at Foot of the Lane, Hamilton.

A medical emergency was reported to Bermuda Radio last Thursday around 11.05 a.m. from the 23ft power craft Sea Witch. Apparently a 46-year-old man suffered a suspected heart attack while lobster diving.

Sea Witch proceeded immediately to Dockyard where it was met en route by Marine Police boat Heron III, which escorted it.

Once the vessel was safely alongside at Dockyard, the man was treated by a Fire Department EMT before being transferred to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital by ambulance.
