The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange (BSX) Index dropped fractionally yesterday as just two issues traded.

Most of the activity centred on Butterfield Bank Ltd., as 2,900 shares changed hands. But the Bank?s share price closed unchanged at $56.75.

Bermuda Aviation Services Ltd. rose five cents (0.8 percent) to close at $6.30, as 2,000 of its shares traded.

Volume of shares traded totalled 4,900, with a value of $176,750. The Index closed yesterday at 4,857.06, down by 0.46 points (0.01 percent).
