A teenager who went missing from home nearly a week ago has still not been found, Police said yesterday. Rayshun Edwards, 16, of Euclid Avenue, Pembroke, was last seen in his home at around 7 p.m. on Thursday.

Family members told the Police that Rayshun frequently hangs out in Somerset and rides a black Honda Scoopy, the license plate number is 292 AF.

He is dark brown skinned, 5ft 9in, weighing 140 pounds with black hair in a short afro. On Thursday he was wearing a long sleeve red and white striped shirt, blue jeans and black sneakers.

A new Permanent Secretary will be appointed at the Ministry of Community Affairs and Cultural Affairs on February 1. Myra Virgil, the director of the Department of Human Affairs, is acting permanent secretary until then. Kenneth Dill, head of the Civil Service, said all the other Permanent Secretary posts in Government had been filled. ?The Tourism and Transport portfolio has been transferred to the Cabinet Office and is being managed administratively from there,? he added.
