The Bermuda Volleyball Association has a number of activities planned for the coming months, with the first being recreational volleyball slated for Bernard
Play will take place every Tuesday, starting from May 4 and continuing through to June 22. The cost is $5 per night and action starts at 5.45 p.m. and ends at 7.30 p.m.
A Corporate Co-ed Volleyball tournament is set for May 15, at Shelly Bay field. This will be a six-member team tournament -- at least three women and two men must be on the court at all times.
The fee is $10 and the registration deadline is April 30. For details interested parties can call Lisa Dragon (295-8025) or Robert Blee (295-3399) during business hours.
Other tournaments include two doubles events, with the first taking place on May 1, and a co-ed version on May 29. Both take place at Shelly Bay field. Wes Toavs (295-4070) can be reached for details.
Finally, two high level United States coaches have been invited to conduct daily training sessions for children between the ages of 10 and 16.
The camp runs from July 19-23. Registration costs $30 if paid by June 14 and $40 if received after that date.
