To commemorate Queen Elizabeth's 80th birthday new stamps have been issued. Bermuda is one of 16 commonwealth countries to issue the stamps on her actual birthday, April 21.

Though her birthday was yesterday Bermuda will celebrate it on June 12. The series of stamps show images of the Queen at various points throughout her life, there are both formal and informal stamps included in the series.

The series of four stamps will be sold at all parish Post Offices. This is the second of five commemorative stamp issues to be released by the Bermuda Post Office this year.

The next commemorative stamp issue will be released on May 27. It will be of the World Stamp Expo at Washington D.C.
