Cruise ships pack docks
Bermuda had another bumper cruise ship week with thousands of visitors escaping an East Coast heatwave for the more temperate climes of Bermuda.
The called into King?s Wharf in Dockyard from New York with 2,535 passengers on Monday morning and departed the same day for Great Stirrup Cay, Bahamas at 5 p.m. The arrived in Hamilton from Cape Liberty, New Jersey on Monday morning in Hamilton with 1,550 passengers and shifts to Penno?s Wharf, St. George?s this morning and will return to Cape Liberty on Thursday afternoon.
The sailed into Penno?s Wharf, St. George?s on Monday with 1,781 passengers from Philadelphia before shifting to Hamilton and will return to Philadelphia on Thursday afternoon. docked at King?s Wharf, Dockyard yesterday morning from Baltimore and will return to Baltimore this afternoon.
The pulled into Ordinance Island, St. George?s yesterday from Boston yesterday morning with 1,661 passengers and returns to Boston on Friday afternoon.
The called into Penno?s Wharf, St. George?s yesterday morning from New York with 1,192 passengers and shifts to Hamilton before sailing to New York on Friday morning.
Theis scheduled to call into King?s Wharf, Dockyard on Saturday morning from New York on a one day visit and then will depart for San Juan at 5 p.m.
The called into Hamilton on Monday with 157 containers and 7 refrigerated containers and will sail to Fernandina Beach, Florida today.
Thewill arrive in Hamilton on Thursday morning with 142 containers including 26 refrigerated containers and will leave on Friday for Salem, New Jersey.
And the arrived from Port Elizabeth, New Jersey on Sunday with 184 dry containers and 47 refrigerated containers.
