"I enjoy working with people, especially my regulars,'' said Kia who has worked in the profession for five years. He started bartending through a summer job and has been at it ever since.

He is known for his trademark concoction called `Knock-off'. This creation is made from Bacardi Limon, Southern Comfort, pineapple juice, cranberry juice and a few other secret ingredients. "They always come back for more,'' he beamed.

Sometimes Kia admits to feeling like a psychologist. "Customers tell me all kinds of information which I keep confidential, of course.'' He feels the Docksider is a great place to work and he always aims to do his best for his bosses, Kyle, Anthony and Reed. "I love my bosses. They treat the staff very well.'' Kia plans on making a career change in the future after he finishes his educational pursuits in economics.
