Butterfield shares fall 2.3% in New York

No shares traded on the Bermuda Stock Exchange’s domestic board as The Royal Gazette/BSX Index remained unchanged on 2,291.75.
The US-listed shares of Butterfield Bank fell 79 cents, or 2.34 per cent, to close at $32.91 on the New York Stock Exchange.
Butterfield last traded at $33.25 on the BSX.
The BSX Insurance Index fell 14.22 points, or 0.83 per cent, to close on 1,697.05.
