Burning exercises

The Bermuda Fire Service will conduct live burning exercises at Morgan's Point, Southampton on Monday and Tuesday.

The exercises will allow firefighters to gain valuable training. The service has not conducted exercises like this one since 2004. The Fire Service asks the public not to become alarmed if smoke is seen originating from Morgan's Point.

Belco advisory

The Stables Belco cashier windows on Reid Street will be closed on Saturday.

Customers are advised to pay bills before Saturday or at Belco headquarters on Serpentine Road. The Stables location will be closed for a systems upgrade regarding customer information.

Belco customers can also pay bills online or via bank ATMs.
