BF&M shares up 4.8%

BF&M Ltd shares were up $1, or 4.8 per cent, at $22 after 4,500 traded on The Royal Gazette/BSX Index.
Shares of Butterfield Bank were up $1.75, or 5.3 per cent, at $34.75 after 6,300 were exchanged, while on the New York Stock Exchange the bank’s shares were up 45 cents, or 1.33 per cent, at $34.29.
The Royal Gazette/BSX Index was up 103 points, or 4.48 per cent, at 2,400.39, while the BSX Insurance Index rose 2.3 points, or 0.13 per cent, to 1,724.38.
