Breaking News: Men plead guilty to Cup Match brawl

Two men charged with participating in a mass fight at Cup Match pleaded guilty in Magistrates’ Court today.

Psanto Eve, 18, of Princess Lane, Pembroke, admitted to several offences — being involved in a fight, riotous behaviour, and using a glass bottle and a shovel as weapons.

Justin Denbrook, 26, of St. George’s pleaded guilty to riotous behaviour.

Senior Magistrate Archibald Warner sentenced both men to three months’ imprisonment.

Denbrook will serve nine months as Mr. Warner ordered a sentence which had been suspended for six months, to be activated and run consecutively.
