Bermuda has suffered its 12th road death of the year — Ryan Furbert died this morning after a single vehicle accident on Frog Lane.

Police confirmed his death, saying the 42-year-old lost control of his vehicle at 2.15 a.m.

The Pembroke resident was travelling south along Frog Lane and Montpelier Road, when he collided with the side curb.

Mr. Furbert, of Happy Valley Lane, was pronounced dead at King Edward Memorial Hospital.

Officers extended their condolences to the Furbert family.

Police are now appealing for witnesses, or anyone who can account for the last movements of Mr. Furbert to contact PC Delphi Burrows on 29-50011.
