entering a woman's home and committing an indecent act in front of her.

Christopher Hollis, of Harlem Heights Road, Hamilton Parish, was charged with entering the woman's home on July 15 without permission and wilfully committing an indecent act with the intention of insulting or offending her.

He was released from Magistrates' Court and a social inquiry report will be prepared prior to his sentencing.

The court heard that the woman had just taken a bath and walked from her bathroom to her living room with a towel wrapped around her.

She was returning to the bathroom when Hollis appeared in the hallway masturbating.

The woman screamed and Hollis ran from the house. He was later arrested at his residence where he lived with his mother.

He told Police that he had been scratching himself, not masturbating.

Hollis told the court that he had gone to the house that day to see if the woman wanted her car washed.

He said she walked out just as he was scratching himself and stressed that he was not doing what she had claimed.

However Hollis added he could not afford to go to trial and fight the charge as he also had a four-month-old child to look after.

Senior Magistrate William Francis said he wanted a social inquiry report done because he believed there were other issues involved in the matter.

He ordered Hollis to return to court on October 1.
