Wanderers, entering the day in second place, moved top despite suffering an early setback when Joe Cunha fired Vasco ahead. BAA hit back in the second half with goals from Dean McIntyre (2) and Mark Brown. They also had substitute Paul Nicholson sent off late in the game for rough play.
At Malabar Field, Prison Officers ran out of steam against PHC Raiders, losing 5-3 having led 2-1 at the interval. Millard Rawlins netted twice for the West Enders while Craig Smith got the other goal. Des Minors and Yusef Boucetta each netted twice for Raiders while Jack Castle scored once.
At Bernard Park, North Village Rams defeated Exiles 4-2 on goals by Richard Simmons, Ross Lambe, Wayne Pimental and Anthony Wilson. Craig Tyrrell got both goals for the losers.
A goal by Rob Marsden after 60 minutes following a corner gave M.R.Onions a 1-0 victory over Fire Services. The firemen had chance to grab a late equaliser but 'keeper Andrew Jekyll pulled off a fine save from Kenny Bartrum's penalty.
In the B Division, leaders St. George's All-Stars were held to a 2-2 draw against Devonshire Lions. Richie Foggo got both goals for the East Enders while Ernest McCallan and Gary Bascome found the target for the home side.
At Shelly Bay, Valley International hammered Wolves Pack 9-1 with Zane Bolin cracking a hat-trick and Kevin Isaacs netting twice. Casey Burgess struck the lone goal for Wolves.
At Somerset, Extros were pummelled 9-4 by Devonshire All-Stars for whom William Benjamin struck five goals. Jeff Richardson followed with two while Dwayne Cox and Leslie Mills got one apiece. Mike Corday netted two for Extros and Glen Riley and Clarence Dill one apiece.
Bermuda Pest Control defeated Belco by default in the other game.
