guilty last week to a lesser charge involving a road accident two years ago in which he drove a car overboard and injured two passengers.

Forbes, 25, was fined $200 in Magistrates' Court on Tuesday after he admitted driving without due care and attention. He was also banned from driving cars for two months but can still drive a motorcycle.

He was represented by lawyer Mr. Kim White and sentenced by the Wor.

Forbes earlier this year denied a more serious charge of dangerous driving.

The accident occurred on Malabar Road in Sandys Parish and one of the young men involved suffered a hip injury, reportedly putting an end to his motocross hobby.

Forbes' car went overboard just past Watford Bridge in a one-vehicle accident.

Prompt action by witnesses helped save the accident victims.

In July, Forbes was given a six-month prison sentence for unlawful wounding with intent to do grievous bodily harm.

That sentence is being appealed by the Attorney General while his lawyer is appealing the conviction. Forbes is out on bail until the Court of Appeal hears the case, which will probably be early next year.
