collision with a car in Pembroke on Friday, Police said yesterday.

Shortly after 4 p.m., a car being driven by a 30-year-old Hamilton Parish woman was travelling east on Spanish Point Road when it apparently collided with the child, who was crossing the road near Admiralty House.

The driver, described as "most upset as a result of the accident,'' was not injured.

The cause is under investigation.

MAN IS NO LONGER WELCOME AT HOME CTS A 23-year-old Devonshire man was told yesterday by a Magistrate that he was no longer welcome at his family's home.

Acting Senior Magistrate the Wor. Charles-Etta Simmons told Dwayne Richard Webb that "your presence is no longer welcome on those premises.'' She granted bail of $400 to Webb on condition he not return to his family's Jubilee Road home unless accompanied by a Police officer.

Webb was also denied any further contact with the occupants of the house.

The conditions were imposed after Webb denied a charge of trespassing.

The matter was brought before the court following a complaint to Police by Webb's father, Mr. Eugene Webb, who was represented by lawyer Mr. Carlsen Philip.

The matter is to be heard at Magistrates' Court next Wednesday.

SCHOOLS BURGLED CRM Break-ins at five different schools have kept Police busy last week.

The most recent involved two primary schools in Southampton and one in Devonshire. In each case, the intruder ransacked classrooms and caused considerable damage to school property. In one case, a calculator and a small amount of cash was stolen and a pay phone was completely destroyed.

Police urge anyone with information on these crimes to contact CID at 295-0011.

BAG SNATCHED CRM Two visitors who lost their way in Devonshire had a handbag snatched from their cycle on Thursday night.

The couple was travelling along Vesey Street at around 9 p.m. when a cyclist rode up behind them and grabbed a grey canvas shoulder bag from the rear basket of their moped. The bag contained a 35-millimetre camera and a zoom lens.

In a separate incident, the occupants of a St. George's home were surprised to discover a handbag had been stolen while they were at home last night.

The thief entered the home between 10 p.m. and midnight through an unlocked door. The handbag contained a small amount of cash, credit cards and cheque books.

DRUGS DROPPED CTS Christmas Day turned sour for a Southampton man when he dropped a packet of cocaine in front of Police officers, a Magistrate heard this week.

Morocco Burch, 17, was walking towards Police officers at Southampton Rangers Sports Club when he dropped the packet containing white powder, prosecutor Sgt. Rex Osborne said on Thursday.

The substance was later identified as .15 grams of cocaine.

Acting Senior Magistrate the Wor. Charles-Etta Simmons fined Burch, who is unemployed, $250.

DUMPER FINED CTS A man was fined $400 in Magistrates' Court on Thursday for littering.

Police prosecutor Sgt. Rex Osborne told the court that Eugene Cabral, a 36-year-old labourer, dumped two chests of draws, four chairs, a bed and two bags of magazines on Vesey Street on March 29.

Cabral told Acting Senior Magistrate the Wor. Charles-Etta Simmons that he had intended to take the objects to the dump for a friend.

On finding the dump closed, he became "tired and frustrated and just wanted to get rid of it''.

When asked why he did not take the garbage back to his home, Cabral said his house was too small.
