on Harbour Road has filed a lawsuit seeking thousands of dollars to cover his medical bills.

Mr. Darren Shawn Woodley of Paget has been battling to secure the money since the accident occurred more than four years ago.

He is suing Works and Engineering and the driver of the truck Mr. Bernell Somersall, Universal Construction and the driver of its electrical van Mr.

Frederick Stanley.

Mr. Woodley's lawyer Mr. Richard Hector took out the writ on his behalf yesterday.

Mr. Woodley was riding his motorcycle on Harbour Road in Paget when the accident occurred. He claims the van was illegally parked on a yellow line and the truck driver had been driving recklessly.

After a one-month hospital stay and extensive physical therapy, he gained full use of both his legs, he said.

A lawsuit against the Bermuda Hospitals Board and Dr. Andrew West was also filed yesterday.

It was taken out by Mr. and Mrs. Dweight Beverly Sr., on behalf of their son, a minor, Dweight Beverly Jr.

Lawyers for either side could not be reached for comment.
