Tourism's Boston Red Sox deal expanded; New England Sports Network joins partnership.

Yesterday Director of Tourism William Griffiths announced the baseball team will host two "Bermuda Nights" at the storied Fenway Park.

In matches on June 17 and August 23rd against the Arizona Diamondbacks and the Seattle Mariners respectively, a Bermuda Tourism representative will throw out the ceremonial first ball and a Bermudian artist will sing the United States' national anthem.

Bermuda Nights at Fenway provides an opportunity for Tourism to "branded messaging" at the stadium and on NESN throughout the season, a press release released yesterday said.

NESN is carried on Bermuda Cablevision at channel 142 and on WOW at channel 221.

The partnership details for 2010 were announced by Mr. Griffith, Larry Lucchino, President and CEO of the Boston Red Sox; as well as Sean McGrail, President of NESN.

Boston's Mayor Thomas M. Menino also attended the announcement as part of his annual walk through of the fabled stadium.
