Man arrested following Loyal Hill Pass incidents
Police confirmed yesterday that a 43-year-old Sandys parish man was arrested following incidents on Thursday at 10 a.m. near Loyal Hill Pass, Devonshire. Alleged burglaries were reported in the area at the time and a man was found in a beaten-up state lying on the road.
Also on Thursday, a car driven by a 58-year-old Devonshire woman went out of control and ended up on its side. The accident occurred shortly before 8.30 a.m. on North Shore Road, Hamilton Parish, near the junction with Coney Island Road.
The driver received injuries which are not believed to be life threatening.
On Friday, a crash on Harbour Road, Paget, near Lower Ferry temporarily blocked the road around 9 a.m., when a taxi and an SUV collided. No one was reported injured.
A burglary was also reported early on Friday morning from Sound View Road, Sandys. Two watches were believed taken from the home at some point earlier in the week.
